Welcome to Hidden Orchard Campground

Tucked away on a small peninsula

We planted the orchard in 2021 and in 2025 we added the campground. Currently we can accommodate RV's, Mini Campers, Tents and we also have our own furnished glamping tents as well. Our tents range from basic pods the size of a king size bed to larger cabin style but all sites come with a fire ring and picnic table. Our bathhouse has a toilet and sink and the showers are outdoors. The larger RV sites have 50A power and water and we provide a complimentary dump service once per week or for stays of at least 2 nights. We have available three - long term - RV sites for the right people. Contact us to learn more about those.

Our location is superb, a hidden orchard on a peninsula with no bridges to open ocean. The locals fish, kayak and paddle board in the creeks around us yet we are only a 12 minute drive from the city of Oriental, a charming, slightly sleepy town, with the most events you've ever seen. A 15 minute drive in the other direction is Bayboro which has many more services, stores and health care.

A Message from your hosts

I came here to build a catamaran (I designed) so I could sail around the world. Hidden Orchard Campground is part of that strategy. One day my dogs (Fluff and Scruff) and I will set sail for ports unknown but in the meantime we are committed to making Hidden Orchard a true, tiny paradise, a pocket of peace and tranquility, full of good vibes.

We may not have all the amenities of the larger campgrounds but we do have the charm. Every year that goes by, our fruit trees will become older and grander, our bamboo groves will surge, and cross vines will capture the bathhouse ramp in an orange glow ... Not to mention we will be adding other amenities so be sure to check us out. Thank you!
