The overwhelming majority of RV’ers show respect for others, and are not in need of written rules. Unfortunately it takes just one disrespectful camper to ruin it for everyone, hence these rules, policies and release of liability agreement should be read and agreed to by every camper booking a stay at Hidden Orchard Campground.

UPON BOOKING, YOU AFFIRM TO HAVE READ & AGREE TO COMPLY WITH THE RULES LISTED BELOW, OR AS POSTED IN THE RESORT’S OFFICES.

Rates

Listed rates are our Rack Rates and may change for Holidays or Events. These rates are based on occupancy. Extra people over age 12 pay $10 ea. per night. The rates include Power and Water for each site that has those amenities. WIFI is included for all sites. Sewer is not included but a dump service is available at .50 cents a gallon (our cost) and we assist with dumping tanks through a mobile tank so you don’t have to move your camper. We don’t have weekly or monthly rates, only nightly rates. For weddings, large groups or other, please contact us.

Reservations

Check availability and rates through our booking calendar. National holiday rates may be higher and have a 3 day minimum stay. Reservations can be extended depending on availability. If you have any questions, please text us or leave a message and we will call you back. We do not accept reservations nor are able to accommodate minors without an Adult.

Cancelations

If your reservation is for one week or less, you may receive a full refund if you cancel at least 48 hours before your arrival date. Any reservation longer than a week, you must cancel 7 days before the arrival date to receive a full refund. Failure to cancel in time will result in a charge equal to one nights stay. We generally do not issue refunds once you have arrived but will issue a refund if for example the park closes due to an impending hurricane. We reserve the right to cancel a reservation due to a violation of park rules and we will make a case by case decision on whether to issue any refund.

Kids
Please keep a close eye on young children. We are surrounded by water and there is always a chance of running into a snake, poison ivy, fire ants etc… You are solely responsible for the safety of your children and ensuring they do not hurt other children. Children should not play in other peoples campsites, they should not try to climb the utility poles, bath house ramp, guard rails or trees. Children should also avoid the creek banks, especially where tall grasses obscure the ground.

Camp Site
Throw your household trash in the receptacle by your camp site. We collect the trash every morning.
All trash maintained outside camper units must be in a plastic or metal container with a lid that provides total enclosure of contents to prevent animal disturbance. Do not dump any type of equipment or furniture or anything else other than household trash. Please keep your campsites uncluttered, organized and clean. Kayaks, paddle boards, grills, tables, extra tents etc… should be neatly stored off the grass. Only build fires in the supplied fire rings and keep those fires under control. If your rig is too big for the site, you can detach your tow vehicle. Inquire with us where to park it. Pools or other structure that could kill the grass are not allowed. Inquire with us if in doubt.

Behavior
Behave appropriately for a family campground. Alcohol is allowed but drunken carousing is not. Please respect each other, no fighting, aggression or obnoxious behavior are allowed. If you have political bumper stickers, cover them up, no exceptions. Respect fellow campers when using the bathrooms by not being messy and wiping down appliances. Mutual respect is always the best solution and will ensure everyone's visit is enjoyable and safe. Last but not least, carrying / shooting / displaying firearms and shooting off fireworks is prohibited.

Vehicles
All vehicles including bicycles must stay on the roads. This is a very small campground, we don't have a lot of space for extra vehicles so If you have a need to park a separate vehicle or boat trailer, ask us first before booking a reservation. We are not responsible for lost or stolen property, damage to your vehicle or damage that your vehicle causes.
All vehicles on the Property must be properly licensed and insured. No vehicle repairs can be performed on the Property. Emergency repairs may be allowed with express approval of Property Manager. Washing vehicles is not permitted within the campground.

CAMPERS/RVS Only one Recreational Vehicle Unit is permitted per Campsite. Campers understand, acknowledge and agree that the Campground is a recreational vehicle resort and campground, and not a mobile home Campground. It is designed for recreation and camping only, it is intended to be enjoyed for limited periods of time, and no full-time residence is permitted. All recreational vehicles must be registered annually pursuant to Part 3, Article 3 of Chapter 20 of the North Carolina General Statutes. Tires may not be removed and campers must remain in movable condition at all times. Recreational Vehicles must be in a clean condition and good repair. No recreational vehicles that fall into a state of disrepair will be allowed to remain in the Campground. Please do not use a tarp to cover any part of your RV or Campsite. The use of generators is generally prohibited unless expressly authorized by Property Management. Bright exterior lighting must be turned off by 10 pm.

WI-FI Hidden Orchard internet service may only be used for lawful purposes. Transmission of any material in violation of federal or state statutes/regulations is prohibited. Our WI-FI is strictly complementary and its availability or lack thereof may not be used as a basis for any refund.

SEWER We do not have direct sewer connections. We have a Septage permit which allows us to collect and store RV waste for collection by a licensed contractor. Our cost for this service is approximately .50 cents per gallon which we pass on to you. The process we use is to bring a mobile tank to your campsite. You will connect our macerator pump to your waste outlet bayonet fitting and the contents of your tanks will be pumped to the mobile tank. We ask you to connect and disconnect the macerator pump and open and close the gate valves to your tanks. We will handle the transport and transfer of the contents to the storage tank. If we are not available and you are in a pickle, you may dump your own grey water tank using, your, or our sewer tote into the septic system. Care must be taken so that no sewage or grey water leak on the ground. Your RV must have the standard three inch waste outlet with hooks for attaching a hose with a bayonet fitting.

IN THE DARK In order to ensure safety after dark, please carry a flashlight. Do not ride bicycles or golf carts unless they have lights. We purposely keep the campground dark so you can enjoy the stars. For this reason we also prohibit bright exterior lights at campsites.

TENT CAMPING Tent camping shall be limited to the pre-approved tent Campsites within the Campground. Upon approval by management, a tent may be erected at an RV Campsite in lieu of having an RV. In this scenario it's allowed to use a 50A to 20A plug strip to power your camp site. Tents parked in RV sites must keep their gear off the grass and as neatly organized as possible.
